In the first test of the closing day, Eva Marina Andrade, from MACZ, won the 50 meter backstroke in the 13-14 year old category, after putting 32 seconds and 1 hundredth; in males, the victory corresponded to David Llerena, from Pichincha Swimming Club (PSC), who for the distance marked 29 seconds and 67 hundredths.

The 15-17 year old category left as the winner Maria Contreras, from Loja, who timed 30 seconds, 96 hundredths; in males, Diego Ruales, from Educoach, finished first with a record of 27.44 seconds; while in more than 18 years the winners were Domain Asanza, from the CDQ, and Dereck Velascoby Delfines.

In other results, Maria Emilia Leon, of Delfines, was the winner in the 100 meters breaststroke, category 13-14 years, by marking 1 minute, 18 seconds and 98 hundredths; while in men the winner was Daniel Perea, from UNAT, with 1 minute, 9 seconds and 90 hundredths.

The 15-17 year old category had the domain of Maria Cristina Padilla, from PSC, with a time of 1 minute, 20 seconds, 90 hundredths; Alvaro Villalva, from Atlantis, achieved the victory in men with 1 minute, 11 seconds and 71 hundredths.

The Diana Quintana Club closed its excellent participation by winning in the category of over 18 years, in women and men, with Kristy Castro, Doméniza Asanza, Nayeli Ríos, Génesis Poveda, Sebastián Macías, Yul Valenzuela, José Rizzo and Diego Mera. (D)
