Barcelona makes new proposal by Ferran Torres and approaches according to Manchester City

This Wednesday, Barcelona presented a new proposal to Manchester City and approached an agreement by striker Ferran Torres.

The coolies had previously offered 50 million euros (about R$ 325 million) for the 21-year-old player, but the offer was refused by the British.

On the other hand, the Citizens wanted to trade the athlete who has few minutes this season, being present in seven games, with three goals and an assist.

After the refusal, the Spaniards offered 55 million euros (R$ 357 million), values ​​that pleased Manchester City and made the deal move forward. Barça expects to complete the transaction by the end of this week.

In early December, Torres showed his interest in joining the Barcelona squad from January. The athlete also received the green light from coach Pep Guardiola, who understood the striker’s wish and said that, in case of a financial settlement, the transfer could take place.

In addition to the good relationship between the directors of City and Barça, coach Xavi Hernández’s approval is highlighted. He welcomes the eventual arrival of the Spaniard, who can play in different sectors of the attack.

Ferran Torres arrived in England in August 2020, bought from Valencia for 23 million euros (R$ 149 million currently). In total, the young man has 43 matches, scoring 16 goals and four assists.
