Rodnina considered Bach, who prayed at the request of Russian pranksters, a fool
Three-time Olympic champion in figure skating, State Duma deputy Irina Rodnina appreciated the action of the head of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach, who prayed at the request of Russian pranksters Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Alexei Stolyarov). Her words are quoted by Sport Express.
“What can I say, make a fool pray to God, he’ll bruise his forehead,” Rodnina said. She also noted that it is high time to restore order in the IOC.
Earlier, during a conversation with pranksters, Bach and Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas, at the request of the Russians themselves, “prayed” in honor of “saints Vovan and Lexus” to disrupt the Friendship Games. Honored figure skating coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova suggested that the head of the IOC had gone crazy.
Bach has headed the IOC since 2013. In March 2021, he was re-elected to a new four-year term.
