Vinícius Júnior provided two assists for Real Madrid’s goals in the draw against Manchester City, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, played on Tuesday. The Brazilian is the player with the most goal contributions in the last three editions of the tournament.

The Brazilian is also the player with the most assists in the period (15), the player with the most decisive passes (65), the most successful dribbles (98) and the player with the most duels won (197).

In the current edition of the Champions League, Vini Jr. played six games, scored three goals and provided four assists, being the leader in this statistic alongside Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka.

In the duel against Manchester City, the Brazilian assisted Rodrygo to score Real Madrid’s second goal and then crossed for Valverde to secure a 3-3 draw.

The return match will be next Wednesday, at 4 pm (Brasília time), at the Etihad Stadium. Before that, Real Madrid returns to the field this Saturday, at 1:30 pm, against Mallorca, in the 31st round of the Spanish Championship.
