With two from Raphinha, Barcelona beats PSG in France in the Champions League quarter-finals

This Wednesday, at Parque dos Príncipes, for the first leg of the quarter-finals of Champions Leagueo Barcelona won, by turn, the Paris Saint Germain3 to 2. The Catalans had a decisive performance from Brazilian Raphinha, who scored two goals.

Now, the teams will face each other, next Tuesday (16), at 4pm (Brasília time), at the Lluis Companys Stadium, in Barcelona. Whoever advances to the next phase will face the winner of the confrontation between Atlético de Madrid e Borussia Dortmund.

PSG returns to the pitch precisely to face Barcelona. The Catalans, this Saturday, at 4pm, visit Cádiz, at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla, for the 31st round of the Spanish Championship.

Barcelona opened the scoring in the 37th minute of the first half. After a cross into the area, Donnarumma did poorly and the ball fell to Rapinha’s feet. The Brazilian, free from marking, finished high and filled the net.

PSG’s equalizer came at the beginning of the second half, in the 3rd minute. Dembelé received it inside the area and pulled it to his left leg, hitting a rocket into ter Stegen’s goal.

The turning point came two minutes later, at five. After a well-worked play, Fabián Ruiz found Vitinha invading the area, who crossed with his right foot.

Barcelona reacted and Raphinha scored again in the 17th minute. Pedri launched a deep ball to the Brazilian, who made a volley with his left leg, inside the area, in Donnarumma’s corner.

The Catalans’ turnaround came in the 32nd minute. Gundogan took a corner and Andreas Christensen headed it, alone in the small area, into the goal.
