Norwich last competed in the country’s elite division in 2022 and, after a poor start to the season, is going through great form. Currently 6th placed in the EFL Championship, the team occupies the last place in the playoffs, with only five rounds remaining until the end of the first phase.
A standout on the team with 12 goals and 12 assists this season, Sara commented on playing in different positions. For Norwich, the player has played as a midfielder, playmaker and even a right winger.
“I played a good part of the championship as a second midfield man and in many games I was even that player further back in the middle. Afterwards, the coach chose to use me as a more centralized number 10 and closer to the goal. And more Recently, I’ve been playing on the right wing, as an open midfielder”, commented the player.
The former São Paulo player, who is preparing to become a father for the first time in the middle of the year, stated that he is looking to compete in the first division of the English Championship: “I want my daughter to be born with her dad playing the Premier League“.
