Udinese opened the scoring in the 40th minute of the first half. The team managed to regain possession of the ball and went into attack at speed. Roberto Pereyra found Lamar Samardzic on the left sector, who cleared the marking and low. The ball didn’t touch anyone and ended up in the back of Sommer’s net.

Inter Milan’s equalizer came in the second half, after ten minutes. Udinese’s goalkeeper, Okoye, when leaving to clear, hit Thuram’s head, and the referee signaled a maximum penalty. Hakan Calhanoglu took the charge and didn’t waste it, scoring the visitors’ first goal in the duel.

The visitors’ winning goal came in stoppage time, in the 50th minute. Frattesi took advantage of the rebound and, with his left leg, inside the small area, he only needed to push the ball towards the goal.
