In a seven-goal game, Brest beats Metz and ends the 9th unbeaten game at home in France

This Sunday morning, in the 28th round of the French Championship, Brest hosted Metz at Stade Francis-Le Blé and won 4-3. The winning goals were scored by Brendan Chardonnet, Kamory Doumbia, Steve Mounié and Martín Satriano, while Ismael Traoré and Georges Mikautadze (2) scored for the visitors.

Brest’s next duel will be next Sunday, for the 29th round of the French Championship. The ball rolls at 3:45 pm (Brasília time), at Groupama Stadium. Metz returns to the pitch next Friday, against Lens, at 4 pm (Brasília time), at Stade Saint-Symphorien, also for the 29th round.

The goals

Despite the defeat, Metz were the ones who opened the scoring. In the sixth minute, Ismael Traoré took advantage of a corner taken by Lamine Camara and sent a low shot into the middle of the goal.

However, the equalizer came soon after, at 12, with Brendan Chardonnet. The athlete took advantage of the free kick after the corner kick and hit a precise finish, also in the center of the goal.
