More than 10 thousand guests attended the anniversary festival New Star Camp 2024
The country’s largest sports festival, New Star Camp, has ended at the popular Russian resort Rosa Khutor. The anniversary event took place from March 25 to 31. More than ten thousand people became its guests, the organizers told Lenta.ru. In total there were 400 contest participants and 105 kilometers of ski slopes.
The New Star Invitational sporting event brought together 38 athletes and 11 winners. The winners were Konstantin Mostovoy (snowboarding) and Oleg Guch (alpine skiing). The Best Trick nomination was taken by Konstantin Mostovoy and Egor Gamzikov, and the New Star nomination by Ermolai Uporov and Stas Anokhin. Yaroslav Lenchevsky received a separate prize from Olympic champion Yuri Podladchikov.
In addition, festival guests were able to enjoy live performances by artists, including Cream Soda, MARSELLE, RICH RUDEBOYZ, Romsta, Nike Borzov, STEREO SHIRINA, Izhevski, Zuma Dionys, Mashkov, Sofia Rodina, Nikita Zabelin, Denis Kaznacheev and others. At the neurocinema, one could watch English-language films about snowboarding, wakeboarding and surfing translated by neural networks. And on the Avenue of Flags there was a neuro-exhibition about the history of the festival. On the ground floor of Food Street you could watch films from the cult studio A24.
It will be possible to become part of the large NEW STAR FESTIVALS community in the fall at New Star Weekend, the organizers emphasized.
