Inter beats Empoli and reaches 12th unbeaten home game in Italian

This Monday, in the 30th round of the Italian Championship, Inter hosted Empoli at the Giuseppe Meazza and won 2-0. The goals were scored by Federico Dimarco and Alexis Sánchez.

Furthermore, Inter reached their 12th game without losing at home in the competition. On the other hand, Empoli got even more complicated, as they were stuck in 17th place, with the same 25 as Frosinone, the team that opens the relegation zone.

The goals

The scoring was opened early, after five minutes. Dimarco received Alessandro Bastoni’s cross and, first time, sent it into goalkeeper Elia Caprile’s left corner.

The second came out at 36 in the second stage. Alexis Sánchez took advantage of Dumfries’ great pass and, in the small area, sent the ball into the free goal.
