Ronaldo is the top scorer in the Saudi League, with 26 goals in 23 games. His club occupies second place, with 59 points, 12 less than leader Al-Hilal. Al-Nassr returns to the field this Tuesday, at 4 pm (Brasília time) when it visits Abha, for the 26th round of the national championship.
Two well-known Brazilian footballers also won awards for their performances in March in Saudi Arabia.
Jorge Jesus, formerly of Flamengo and now at Al-Hilal, was considered the best coach of the month. In addition to leading the championship undefeated, his team achieved the longest winning streak in the history of men’s football.
Goalkeeper Mailson, revealed by Sport, won the championship’s best goalkeeper award in March defending Al-Taawoun.
