Carolina forward Lemieux called Russian Kuznetsov the most positive player
Carolina Hurricanes forward Brendan Lemieux named the most positive and supportive player in the National Hockey League (NHL) club. His words are quoted on the team’s website.
Lemieux considered Russian forward Evgeny Kuznetsov as such. “He constantly smiles, and you can always hear him, he exudes positivity. He always has a lot of energy. Good energy. He is also easy-going and likes to be in company,” said the athlete.
Earlier, the team’s head coach Rod Brindamore gave Kuznetsov a plunger. Fans connected this with the Russian’s interview that Carolina wanted him to be in the club not as a plumber, but as himself.
Kuznetsov was traded on March 8 from the Washington Capitals. He played 13 matches for Carolina, scored two goals and made four assists.
