Spartak coach Abaskal about the draw with Ural in the RPL: for us it’s zero points
The head coach of Spartak Moscow, Guillermo Abascal, explained the draw with Ural Yekaterinburg in the 21st round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL). His words are quoted by Match TV.
“It’s zero points for us. In this match we played to win,” the coach said. He considered that the game was a success for his players, with the exception of the final period. According to Abascal, the team lacked accuracy in passes and shots.
Earlier on March 30, Spartak played a draw with Ural in the match of the 21st round of the RPL. The meeting took place in Moscow at the Lukoil Arena stadium and ended with a score of 0:0.
Thus, after 21 matches, Spartak is in fifth place in the RPL standings, having scored 32 points. Ural is in 13th place with 20 points. The leader is Zenit St. Petersburg, which has 41 points.
