Brazilian full-back should not remain at Real Madrid for next season

On loan from Shakhtar Donetsk, right-back Vinícius Tobias is unlikely to remain at Real Madrid. The Spanish club does not plan to exercise the purchase option with the Ukrainian club. The information was released by Sports world.

According to the Spanish newspaper, Real Madrid does not intend to pay around R$80 million to have the Brazilian on a permanent basis.

Vinícius Tobias arrived at the Spanish club in April 2022, to be an option on the side. However, he was unable to earn his place and joined Real Madrid Castilla, where he alternated between the starting line-up and the reserves.

At Castilla, the defender made 59 commitments.

Despite being involved in some Real Madrid games, the 20-year-old player only played one game with the main squad. Vinícius Tobias was a starter in the clash with Arandina, from the Spanish fourth division, in the third phase of the Copa del Rey, on January 6, 2024.

On that occasion, the Brazilian played for 80 minutes before being substituted. Real won 3-1.

As a result, the full-back revealed by Internacional does not have his future defined for next season, since, according to the newspaper, other clubs in Spain may be interested in counting on Tobias’ football.
