Recovered from injury, Richarlison is available again at Tottenham

Coach Ange Postecoglou said in a press conference held this Friday that Brazilian striker Richarlison is physically fit and available to be used by Tottenham in this Saturday’s match against Luton Town in the English Championship. In addition to him, midfielder Bentancur and defender Micky van de Ven are also ready to take the field.

“Bentancur, Micky van de Ven and Richarlison are all well, available for selection. Richarlison is fine. He had a problem with his knee and we are taking care of him, he feels good even after training,” he said.

The center forward had been injured in February this year and was sidelined for a month. He played ten minutes in the London team’s last duel before the FIFA Date, but remained on the bench for the Brazilian team in the 1-0 victory over England and the 3-3 draw with Spain.

After a below-expected debut season at Tottenham, Richarlison recovered his good football and became one of the English club’s main players. In 2023/24, he scored 11 goals in 26 games, his best average in Europe so far.

With Richarlison available, Tottenham takes to the field this Saturday, at 12pm (Brasília time), against Luton Town, in London, for the 29th round of the English Championship.
