THE Atletico Mineiro announced, on Tuesday, the loan of Alan Franco to Charlotte FC, of the United States. The midfielder signed with the team coached by Miguel Ángel Ramírez until December 2022.

Galo also informed that he “paid for the Ecuadorian’s transfer”. However, the values will not be disclosed. In addition, there is a purchase option, with a fixed value, at the end of the loan period.
Franco will return to work with Ramírez – this time on US soil. Both were part of the Independiente del Valle squad and won the South American Cup of 2019.

Hired in 2020 by the Minas Gerais club, the 23-year-old player played 48 matches for the team and scored three goals.
In addition to Franco, the Charlotte FC also brought the young Vinicius Mello, do International. The 19-year-old forward signed a bond until 2025.
