Meet Lamine Yamal, the athlete who made the Brazilian defense hell at the age of 16

Lamine Yamal, just 16 years old, is one of the Spanish team and Barcelona’s biggest hopes for the coming years. Last Tuesday, he was one of the highlights of the draw between Brazil and Spain.

Since making his professional debut in April 2023, he has played 49 matches, 23 as a starter.

According to Sofascore, during the period, Lamine Yamal found the net on eight occasions and distributed five assists. The Spaniard also conceded two penalties and completed 88 dribbles, in addition to creating 12 big chances and completing 44 decisive passes.

Lamine Yamal’s next appointment with Barcelona is scheduled for Saturday, at 5pm (Brasília time), in a duel against Las Palmas, for the Spanish Championship.
