Lokomotiv legionnaire Mitai said that in the West Russians are considered harsh
Albanian defender of Lokomotiv Moscow Mario Mitai spoke about the perception of Russians in the West. His words are quoted by Sport24.
“I’ll be honest: I had a stereotype that Russian guys are stern, tough men who are almost always silent. Everyone in the West thinks so. But this myth was shattered on my very first day in Russia,” said the footballer. The legionnaire noted that he considers the Russian people very sincere and friendly.
Mitai also admitted that he likes living in Moscow. “Better than many other European capitals. Moscow has the most delicious restaurants I have ever been to,” he said.
20-year-old Mitai moved to Lokomotiv in August 2022. In total, he played 37 matches as part of the capital club, without scoring any effective actions.
