The goals
The first came out 18 minutes into the first half. Sergio Peña took the free kick and, with a mistake from the opposing archer, put the Peruvian team in front.
The second came from the feet of Jesús Castillo. The athlete took advantage of Anderson Santamaría’s pass and, from the edge of the area, finished into the goalkeeper’s left corner.
Peru’s third came right at the beginning of the second half, after nine minutes. Piero Quispe mastered the great assist inside the area and sent it towards the right side of the goal.
The Dominican Republic still managed to pull one back at 13, with a beautiful goal, from outside the area, scored by Jean López. However, the Peruvian team closed the score at 49, with a penalty, with Paolo Guerrero.
