This Tuesday, Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia faced each other at the Pamir Stadium, in Tajikistan, in a game valid for the fourth round of Group G of the Asian Qualifiers, and drew 1-1. Al-Buraikan opened the scoring for the Saudis. Soirov left everything the same for the home team.
With the result, Saudi Arabia reached ten points and remained at the top of Group G, but lost its 100% record in the competition. Tajikistan, in turn, reached five points and remains in second place, but could be overtaken if Jordan wins the round.
Tajikistan only returns to the field on June 6th, in a duel against Jordan, in the Qualifiers. Saudi Arabia’s next match will be on the same day and tournament, but against Pakistan.

Saudi Arabia opened the scoring just a minute into the second half. Al-Burayk was launched from the right wing and crossed first time to Al-Braikan, who rose between the markers and headed the ball into the back of the goal.
Tajikistan’s response came in the 34th minute, when Kamolov received a good pass to shoot down the right. Afterwards, he crossed into the area and saw Rustam Soirov throw himself at the ball and find the net.
