Former Spartak goalkeeper Anton Mitryushkin will move to Lokomotiv
Khimki goalkeeper Anton Mitryushkin has signed a preliminary contract with Lokomotiv Moscow. The head coach of the Moscow Region team, Andrei Talalaev, told Metaratings about this.
According to him, the former Spartak goalkeeper will move to a new team at the end of the season. “This was not a surprise for us, nor was it a tragedy. In the winter, we twice offered Mitryushkin to re-sign the contract. He refused, it’s his choice,” Talalaev said.
The coach also answered the question whether Mitryushkin will be Khimki’s main goalkeeper for the rest of the season. “During the season, we had no idea who the clear first number was, and we still don’t have one now. Whoever is better prepared will play,” Talalaev noted.
Mitryushkin has been playing for Khimki since 2022. He also played for Spartak, Swiss Sion and German Dynamo Dresden.
