The French and Chilean national football teams will honor the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow before the start of a friendly match. Philippe Diallo, president of the French Football Federation (FFF), told Europe 1.
There will be a minute of silence before the starting whistle. Diallo said that the French Football Federation stands in solidarity with the Russians and their Russian colleagues. The head of the FFF stressed that it is necessary to pay tribute to the victims.
The meeting will take place in Marseille, France, at the Vélodrome stadium on March 26. It will start at 23:00 Moscow time.
Crocus City Hall was attacked on the evening of March 22. Terrorists armed with machine guns entered the building and opened targeted fire on those who were inside. According to preliminary data, 144 people became victims of the terrorist attack, and more than three hundred were injured.
