Vini Jr. and Rodrygo take part in action against racism on the eve of a friendly with Spain

This Monday, on the eve of the friendly between Brazil and Spain, players and managers from both teams met at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the stage for the match, in a campaign to combat racism, promoted by the CBF and the Royal Spanish Football Federation . Among the athletes were Brazilians Rodrygo and Vinicius Júnior, along with Spaniards Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams. In addition to them, the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, also attended with the sporting director of the Spanish team, Albert Luque.

Holding the opposing team’s shirt, the players mingled and posed for a photo on the pitch.

“There is no more room for racists in football. This will be the clear message we will give this Tuesday to everyone,” said Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the CBF.

Furthermore, the CBF informed that during the playing of the national anthem, the Brazilian team will wear a coat from the “One Skin, One Identity” campaign. The initiative’s slogan will be written in Portuguese, English and Spanish on the back of the garment. Finally, the delegation bus and the game’s pennant also follow the campaign’s identity.

The friendly takes place this Tuesday, at 5:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Santiago Bernabéu.
