Ukraine, at war for two years after Russia’s invasion, can guarantee itself in Euro 2024 this Tuesday (26), when three games define the last classified for the continental tournament. The Ukrainian classification could give the Euros (played from June 14 to July 14) a geopolitical dimension that is already part of major international sporting competitions.
Playing as home team, the Ukraine team will host Iceland in the neighboring city of Wroclaw Polanda country that has already hosted games from Shakhtar Donetsk in European tournaments this season.
The Ukrainians will not have an easy life, as in the previous round of the play-offs the Icelanders beat Israel 4-1, with a hat-trick from Robert Gudmundsson, in another game that was played in Poland, due to the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

The winner of this ‘Road B’ of the repechage goes to the European Championship in Group E, alongside BelgiumSlovakia and Romania.
At the same time, the most attractive game, a priori, will be played between Wales and Robert Lewandowski’s Poland, who at 35 does not want to waste one of his last opportunities to participate in a national team competition. The attacker of Barcelona is the offensive reference of the Polish team, despite having failed in the 5-1 defeat of Estonia in the last round.
Wales, on the other hand, appears to have overcome the retirement of star Gareth Bale and is close to participating in its third consecutive Euro, after spending more than 50 years without going to major tournaments. The winner of this duel will join Group D of the European Championship, which also includes France, the Netherlands and Austria.
Finally, the Greece visits Georgia to try to play in the continental tournament in Group F, together with Portugal, Turkey and the Czech Republic.
