The Bureau of the Executive Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) decided to postpone all competitions held under the auspices of the organization to reserve dates for the current round of matches due to the terrorist attack in the Moscow region. The list includes matches of the Women’s Super League, First League, Second League, Futsal Super League, as well as regional competitions. It is noted that new dates and times for matches will be announced additionally.

On March 23, it became known that the friendly match between the national teams of Russia and Paraguay was canceled. The RFU stated that the parties will be able to hold a meeting at another time.

Crocus City Hall was attacked on the evening of March 22. Terrorists armed with machine guns entered the building and opened targeted fire on those who were inside. According to preliminary data, 150 people became victims of the terrorist attack, and more than a hundred were injured.
