Bolivia was defeated by Algeria this Friday, 3-2, in a friendly that took place in the African country. The young Bolivian Miguelito, from Santos, came on during the second half, but was not very active in the match. The home team’s goals were scored by Gouiri, Benzia and Mandi, while Algaranãz and Sagredo scored for the visitors.
With the victory, Algeria once again won a match after three games without triumphs. Bolivia, in turn, entered the field for the first time in 2024.
The Algerian team returns to the field next Tuesday for a friendly against South Africa. Bolivia ends the FIFA Data period against Andorra, on Monday.

Algeria were superior in the first half. Even with the superiority, the first Algerian goal only came in the 43rd minute. Gouiri received the ball in the penalty area and hit it towards the Bolivian goal. The ball deflected halfway and ended up in the back of the net.
The Bolivian team returned with a different attitude for the second stage. Just two minutes in, Algarañaz hit a beautiful shot to leave everything even. 23 minutes later, Sagredo took advantage of a rebound after a free kick and headed it in to turn the match in Bolivia’s favor.
But Algeria didn’t let it go and, nine minutes after the second Bolivian goal, they tied the game. After a good play on the right, Benzia appeared free in the area and left everything the same once again.
After tying the duel, Algeria threw themselves into the attack and managed to turn things around in the 48th minute, already in stoppage time. In confusion in the penalty area, Mandi pushed the ball into the back of the goal and gave final results to the match.
