This Thursday, at the Red Bull Arena, in New Jersey, Ecuador beat Guatemala 2-0, in an international friendly. Arboleda, São Paulo’s defender, was present throughout the match. Furthermore, the goal that opened the scoring was scored by Jhon Yeboah. The 23-year-old thus scored his first goal with the national team.

Ecuador, therefore, maintains a sequence of results, registering six unbeaten games. In the period, there are four wins and two draws. Guatemala, in turn, faces the opposite phase, as it has been six games without winning.

The second goal came in the 41st minute of the second half. In a quick counterattack, Ángel Mena found Gonzalo Plata, who invaded the area and hit a cross into the goalkeeper’s left corner.
