Olympic champion Kozhevnikov said that Russia is better than the United States in terms of openness
Two-time Olympic hockey champion Alexander Kozhevnikov called Russia’s advantage over the United States. His words are quoted by Sports.
The former athlete said that Russia is better in terms of quality of life and openness. “It’s a mess, a pure mess. What a drug addiction,” he considered. Kozhevnikov advised paying attention to American hockey and basketball players who do not know how to behave after games.
Kozhevnikov lived in the USA for six years, where he owned a hockey school. He stated that he returned to Russia out of a sense of patriotism. The hockey player won victories at the 1984 and 1988 Games as a member of the USSR national team. He also won the World Championship with the team.
