UFC fighter Cejudo: Tyson can earn $20 million for fight with Paul
Former UFC champion in two weight categories Henry Cejudo named the possible fee of former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson for a fight with blogger Jake Paul. His words are quoted by Give me Sport with reference to a podcast with Kamaru Usman.
The athlete said that Tyson should earn about $20 million. “I respect Mike, but he’s about to turn 58 years old,” he emphasized.
The fight between Tyson and Paul became known on March 7. The fight will take place at the A&T Stadium in Arlington, America, on July 20.
Paul is known for a series of boxing matches with professional fighters. His only defeat was from Briton Tommy Fury. In the last fight, which took place according to boxing rules, the blogger defeated Ryan Bourland by technical knockout.
In 2020, Tyson entered the ring against compatriot Roy Jones. The exhibition fight ended in a draw. This performance was Tyson’s first in 15 years. In 2005, he was defeated by Kevin McBride in his last professional fight.
