Former head coach of the Russian national football team Boris Ignatiev spoke about his retirement income. His words are quoted by Sport24.
The ex-specialist complained about the ridiculous pension, saying that it was difficult to live on it. “On such a pension, you can either sit at home or die,” he calculated, noting that his accumulated savings help him.
Ignatiev led the Russian national team from 1996 to 1998. He also worked for Dynamo Kiev and several Russian clubs. Under the leadership of the coach, the USSR youth team won the European Championship in 1988.
