Russian football player Lunev said that he was shown the middle finger in Germany
Russian football player Andrei Lunev spoke in an interview with the YouTube channel “22 Fools” about the attitude towards himself in Germany, where he played for Bayer.
“There have been incidents on the road in the city. Provocations, phrases, gestures. How did they know that he was Russian? I drove a car with Russian license plates and transported my own. They showed the middle finger,” the goalkeeper recalled. Lunev added that the team itself had a good attitude.
The Russian played for Bayer from 2021 to 2023. Afterwards he moved to the Azerbaijani “Karabakh”. Together with the team, the goalkeeper reached the 1/8 finals of the Europa League, where he lost to Bayer.
From 2017 to 2021, Lunev represented Zenit St. Petersburg. Together with the blue-white-blue team, the goalkeeper won the Russian Premier League three times. The goalkeeper has seven matches as part of the Russian national team.
