The Ecuadorian fighter of mixed martial arts (MMA) Carlos Vera (10-3-0) obtained a victory via unanimous decision against the American Peter Caballero (9-4-0) in the Fury 55 event of the company Fury FC (FURY Fighting Championship), which took place Sunday at the Houston Arena Theater in Houston, Texas.

The athlete from Manta, Manabí, showed that at 34 he is in force in the United States and in a league that is broadcast by UFC Fight Pass.

The tricolor fight was part of the main card and had three rounds five minutes each.

Vera ended up controlling Caballero very well in the first episode. He took the initiative in the second and was very close to finishing his opponent with a lock, but the sound of the buzzer took the fight to one more round.

In the last one, Vera followed the same trend. Caballero was unable to hurt the Ecuadorian despite taking him to the canvas. There Vera got on very well and got away with ease.

The judges decided the triumph of the mantense unanimously.

This was Vera’s second match at Fury FC and she ended it with success. On September 5 of this year he defeated American Cody Freeman by unanimous decision in the Fury 50 function, also in Houston, Texas. His fight record improved to ten wins and four losses. (D)
