Brazilian Zenit player Nino said that he reads “Crime and Punishment”
Zenit St. Petersburg defender Nino, in an interview with a YouTube channel, spoke about a Russian book brought from Brazil.
The footballer said that his father gave him the novel “Crime and Punishment” by Fyodor Dostoevsky, which he had already started reading, as well as the story “White Nights.” He emphasized that he loves Russian literature and culture. “I became acquainted with Russian literature a long time ago and have already read several books. So I’m a big fan of her,” Nino added.
The Brazilian moved to Zenit at the beginning of 2024, signing a four-year contract. The transfer amount was five million euros.
In October 2022, Serbian football player CSKA Nevena Damjanovic spoke about the similarities between Russia and Serbia. She emphasized that she studied Russian at the elementary level at school and read books on Russian history.
