Journalist Karpov: Abascal in Spartak could be replaced by Ivich from Krasnodar
Journalist Ivan Karpov in the Telegram channel “Insides from Karp” named a candidate for the post of head coach of Spartak.
According to the source, Spaniard Guillermo Abascal may be replaced as head coach of the red-and-whites by Vladimir Ivic. Currently, the Serbian specialist heads Krasnodar. It is noted that the buyout of the coach costs 900 thousand euros.
On March 10, in the match of the 20th round of the Russian Premier League, Spartak was defeated by Fakel with a score of 0:2. The former president of the Moscow club, Andrei Chervichenko, called Abascal the reason for the team’s failures.
Abaskal will head Spartak in the summer of 2022. In the 2022/2023 season, the team led by the Spaniard became the bronze medalist of the Russian Championship.
