Lokomotiv and Sochi tied with a score of 2:2 in the RPL match
“Lokomotiv” in the match of the 20th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) played a draw with the outsider of the tournament “Sochi”. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The meeting took place in Moscow and ended with a score of 2:2. The home team’s midfielder Rifat Zhemaletdinov opened the scoring in the second minute, and midfielder Artur Yusupov scored the return goal in the fourth minute. In the 42nd minute, striker Maxim Glushenkov again brought the railway workers ahead. Sochi defender Marcelo Alves saved the team from defeat in the 51st minute.
In the 53rd minute, having received a second yellow card, Muscovites midfielder Artem Karpukas left the field. In the 75th minute, Sochi forward Sergio Cordova received a red card.
Lokomotiv moved up to fifth place in the Russian Championship standings with 32 points. Sochi has 13 points and is in last 16th place.
