British boxer Anthony Joshua knocked out former UFC champion Francis Ngannou at a tournament held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). The results are available on Al Jazeera’s website.
The fight between Joshua and Ngannou ended in the second round. Before this, the Cameroonian was knocked down twice.
Joshua is the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. He now has 28 wins and three losses.
Ngannou lost the second professional fight of his career. On October 28, 2023, Briton Tyson Fury defeated the Cameroonian in a heavyweight boxing match in Saudi Arabia. The fight lasted all ten rounds, following which the judges gave the victory to the Briton by split decision.
Ngannou has 17 wins and three losses in mixed martial arts throughout his career. He held the UFC heavyweight championship belt.
