Sochi head coach Robert Moreno compared working in the Russian club and in Barcelona. His words are quoted by “Championship”.
Moreno said that there is no difference between working in Sochi and Barcelona. He noted that all training is almost the same. “Both there and there your goal is to win. Both in Barcelona and in Sochi I tell the players that we can only control what depends on us,” added the Spanish specialist.
Moreno took charge of Sochi on December 15. He previously worked on the coaching staff of the Spanish national team, Barcelona, Granada, Celta Vigo, Roma and Monaco.
Sochi is currently the worst team in the Russian Premier League (RPL), occupying the last, 16th place in the standings. In 19 championship matches, the team scored 12 points.
