Russian Umar Nurmagomedov defeated Kazakh Bekzat Almahan at the UFC tournament

Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter Umar Nurmagomedov defeated the representative of Kazakhstan Bekzat Almakhan at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Vegas 87 tournament in Las Vegas (USA). This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.

The fight lasted all three rounds and ended with the victory of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s brother by unanimous decision.

Nurmagomedov has not competed since the summer of 2022. The fighter was recovering from a shoulder injury and surgery.

Nurmagomedov previously complained that none of the promotion representatives wanted to fight him. UFC head Dana White confirmed this and explained that those ahead of the Russian in the rankings do not want to risk their place.

Nurmagomedov, 28, remains an undefeated fighter with 17 wins in 17 fights. Almahan suffered his second defeat in 19 fights.
