Euskaraz irakurri: Realak bigarren porrota jarraian jaso du Ligan, Sevillaren aurka 3-2 galduta
Real Sociedad lost against Sevilla (3-2) at the Sánchez Pizjuán in the match corresponding to the 27th day of LaLiga EA Sports. Therefore, the txuri-urdin team placed its second consecutive defeat in LaLiga and closed a bad week, since it also fell eliminated in the Cup Last Tuesday. Thus, Real will end the day in the seventh place in the classificationwith 40 points.
Sevilla entered the match better and had two clear chances in the opening moments: in the 3rd minute En-Sesyri’s shot went wide, and a minute later goalkeeper Remiro prevented Isaac Romero’s goal after winning a one-on-one hand with the Sevilla striker. La Real responded in the 8th minute with a shot by Zhakaryan that was stopped by goalkeeper Nyland. Despite the txuri-urdin reaction, the local team continued to dominate and reflected its superiority through a both from En-Nesyri (1-0) in the 11th minute; Remiro cleared a shot from Isaac Romero, the ball was loose in the area and the Moroccan striker did not forgive.
The goal hurt Real Sociedad, who also had to see how two minutes after conceding the first goal, they received the second: on this occasion, the scorer was also En-Nesyri (2-0) that with a shoe from almost no angle once again pierced the goal defended by Real.
The txuri-urdin team had a very uphill battle in the first quarter of an hour. Imanol Alguacil’s men were not able to generate clear scoring chances and Sevilla had the first half under control. It seemed that the match was going to go into the break with the home team two goals ahead, although in extra time, the referee awarded a penalty in favor of Real for a handball inside the area by Sergio Ramos. The person in charge of taking the maximum penalty was André Sila and the Portuguese made the score 2-1.
After the restart, Real Sociedad had more of the ball, but still couldn’t trouble their rival. The forces were even at the start of the second half, but in the 66th minute Real received another setback in the form of a goal; Sergio Ramos scored 3-1 after beating Remiro with a header.
Despite the new blow they received, Imanol Alguacil’s men continued fighting. He had a hard time reaching the rival goal in danger, although in the final stretch he made a couple of chances to close the gap. Already in the discount, Brais Méndez gave hope to his team after scoring 3-2 through a direct foul.
However, Sevilla managed the final minutes well and Real Sociedad could not score at the Sánchez Pizjuán (3-2).
