Denis Glushakov recalled that football players share a percentage of their salaries with agents
Russian midfielder of the Armenian Urartu Denis Glushakov spoke about the high salaries of football players. His words are quoted by RB Sport.
“When people say that we earn a lot, they forget that the players share with agents who take a decent percentage,” Glushakov recalled. He noted that conditions vary. For example, an athlete can give an agent 10 percent of his salary and another 50 percent of allowances.
Earlier, Glushakov addressed those who consider the players’ salaries to be too high and suggested that they go make money by playing football. “Our work is a lot of work. I wouldn’t say that we get undeservedly,” he explained.
Glushakov moved to Urartu on February 27. Previously, he played for the Moscow Lokomotiv and Spartak, winning the championship and the Russian Super Cup with the latter, as well as Paris Nizhny Novgorod, Khimki near Moscow, Rostov SKA, Irkutsk Zvezda, Grozny Akhmat and Kostroma Spartacus”.
