Russian midfielder Denis Glushakov became a player for the Armenian Urartu. This is reported on the club’s website.
The term and other details of the agreement with the 37-year-old football player have not been disclosed.
On January 30, Glushakov left Spartak Kostroma, which he had represented since September 2023. Previously, he played for the Moscow Lokomotiv and Spartak, winning the championship and the Russian Super Cup as part of the latter, as well as Pari Nizhny Novgorod, Khimki near Moscow, Rostov SKA, Irkutsk Zvezda and Grozny Akhmat.
Glushakov played 57 matches as a member of the Russian national team. He scored five goals and one assist. Together with the national team, the midfielder performed at the European Championships in 2012 and 2016, as well as at the 2014 World Championships.
