Karen Khachanov rose to 15th place in the ATP rankings after winning the tournament in Doha
Russian Karen Khachanov returned to the top 15 of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings after winning the tournament in Doha (Qatar). Updated statistics are available on the organization’s website.
Khachanov moved up two places and took 15th place on the list. The top ten rankings remained unchanged. The first racket of the world is still the Serbian Novak Djokovic, followed by the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the Italian Jannik Sinner, as well as the Russians Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev.
On February 24, Khachanov beat Czech Jakub Mensik in the final of the ATP-250 tournament in Doha. For the Russian, this is the first title of the season and the sixth in his career.
The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and ATP did not impose bans on the participation of Russians and Belarusians in tournaments under their auspices. Athletes continue to compete in a neutral status.
