Stephens, winner of the Almería Classic

Lauren Stephens (Cinisca Cycling) won the 2024 Almería Classic after being the best on the 102-kilometer route starting and ending in Puebla de Vícar.
The American arrived escape to the final meters with Yuliia Biriukova (Human Powered Health). They disputed the victory among themselves and Stephens took the win. Biriukova was second and her teammate Linda Zanetti (Human Powered Health) finished third After leading a group of eight runners. The cyclists of Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi), Laura Tomasi and Catalina Anais Soto were fifth and sixth respectively.
The best Basque runner was Usoa Ostolaza (Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi) when she crossed the finish line in thirteenth position16 seconds behind the winner, and behind her teammate Eri Yonamine.
