Fitness trainer Maxim Oborin recommended an unusual type of squats to work the leg muscles. His words are quoted by “Championship”.

Oborin suggested doing sissy squats, calling their main advantage the targeted development of the quadriceps. The work also includes the buttocks, hamstrings and calves, and improves control in the knee joints.

Oborin described the correct technique for performing sissy squats without equipment. First, you need to stand upright next to any support, place your feet at the width of your pelvic bones, and grab the support with one hand. Keep your body in neutral alignment by contracting your abdominal and gluteal muscles. Then begin to slowly bend your knees to a right angle, raising your toes in parallel and tilting your body back, while keeping your hips locked. Then return to the starting position.

Earlier, coach Yulia Grushina told what exercises can help in the fight against “ears” on the hips. “Romanian deadlifts and glute bridges, diagonal, lateral and Bulgarian lunges, crossover leg abductions, step-ups on a pedestal or platform with a slow descent will be effective,” she shared.
