Barcelona head coach Xavi began searching for a mole in the team due to leaks of information from the locker room to the media. About this on air El Chiringuito TV reported journalist Javi Miguel.

“The witch hunt in the locker room has been going on for two months now. They are looking for a mole. Everything that appears in the media is true. This is not a new problem. Javi has one goal – to find the mole,” the journalist said. According to Miguel, the head coach of the Catalans checked the phones of members of the coaching staff for communication with reporters. It is noted that he did this with their permission.

At the same time, the blue garnet players are confident that the mole is in the coaching staff. “This is the most serious thing. At Xavi’s last meetings with the team, no one from the headquarters was present. Just Xavi and the players. There were three such meetings in total,” said Miguel.

On February 21, Barcelona will play the first match of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League against the Italian Napoli. The meeting will take place at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in Naples and will begin at 23:00 Moscow time.

In January of this year, Xavi admitted his desire to leave Barcelona at the beginning of the 2023/2024 season. The coach stated that he wanted to leave the team because he felt that his work was not appreciated.
