Alina Zagitova will become the general manager of her figure skating school
Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova will become the general manager of her own sports school in Kazan. Tatarstan Sports Minister Vladimir Leonov reported this to RIA Novosti.
Zagitova will select coaches, supervise and set tasks. “Alina and I are constantly in touch, I just called yesterday. Work processes. She has a team, guys who are competent,” Leonov noted.
On February 12, Zagitova announced the release of her own show on YouTube. ““Posters” will be called. Figure out for yourself what will happen there,” the athlete noted.
Zagitova is the only single figure skater in Russian history who has won all the titles in world figure skating. She became the 2018 Olympic champion, world and European champion, and also the winner of the Grand Prix final.
The athlete suspended her career in December 2019. She focused on participating in ice shows, as well as working in the First Channel project “Ice Age”.
