Bulykin said that Dzyuba will be supported by the people if he goes into politics
Former Russian national team footballer Dmitry Bulykin assessed the prospects of Lokomotiv Moscow striker Artem Dzyuba in politics. His words are quoted by Sport24.
“It depends on what level and where. I think if Artem Dzyuba wants to go into politics, he will have a lot of support,” Bulykin said.
The ex-player added that the most difficult thing at the beginning of a political career is collecting signatures. “They are very difficult to collect, so few people manage to overcome this barrier, although few people try,” Bulykin said.
In October 2022, the honorary president of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Vyacheslav Koloskov assessed Dzyuba’s prospects of becoming a State Duma deputy. He called it stupid and advised the player to look for a job as a coach or football manager.
