This game was attended by 10,945 spectators. The attendance record for Moscow in the match between Spartak and Ak Bars was slightly ahead of the previous achievement, 10,655 spectators. It was established on January 27 at a meeting between Spartak and Dynamo.
The meeting ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of Ak Bars. Semyon Koshelev scored a double for the visitors, and Kirill Petrov scored one goal. A few matches before the end of the KHL regular season, Spartak and Ak Bars are in the playoff zone. The Muscovites occupy fourth place in the Western Conference standings, the Kazan club is fourth in the East.
On February 11, an attendance record for the entire KHL was set at the SKA arena. The match between SKA and Sochi at the new arena in St. Petersburg was attended by 21,481 spectators.
