Fitness trainer Alena Averyanova recommended an effective exercise for the abdominal muscles. Her words are quoted by the magazine “Around the World”.

The specialist recommended doing leg lifts while sitting on the floor. “This exercise targets the rectus abdominis, obliques, and hip flexors,” she explained.

Starting position: sit on the floor, place your palms on the floor, tilt your body 30 degrees back, bend your legs slightly at the knees and raise them. Then, as you exhale, lift your legs higher and move them down and to the side at the same time without touching the floor. After that, return to the center. For convenience, you can place two bottles at an equal distance and put your feet behind them.

Previously, Averyanova advised doing Bulgarian lunges to work the muscles of the legs and buttocks. She noted that this exercise also improves overall body coordination.
