A Russian woman defeated a Ukrainian woman in the European wrestling championship

Russian Dadasheva defeated Ukrainian Livac in the European Wrestling Championship

Russian Milana Dadasheva defeated Ukrainian Oksana Livac in the European wrestling championship, RIA Novosti reports.

Dadasheva took bronze at the tournament in Bucharest with a score of 17:15. The athletes competed in the weight category up to 50 kilograms. Livac, the 2019 European champion, burst into tears after the defeat. The Russian woman and the Ukrainian woman refused to shake hands.

First place in the tournament was taken by Lvov native Maria Stadnik, who competes for Azerbaijan. She defeated Turkish athlete Evin Demirhan. The second bronze medal was received by the Bulgarian participant Miglena Selishka.

Earlier, Ukrainian Alexander Grushin refused to be photographed with the winner and prize-winners of the European Wrestling Championship at the award ceremony. The athlete took second place, Russian Anvar Allahyarov won bronze.
